elevation models

Two types of elevation models are available: Digital Surface Models (DSM) and Digital Terrain Models (DTM). A DSM represents the Earth’s surface, including all objects present on it, such as trees and buildings. In contrast, a DTM shows the bare ground surface, with these objects removed.

Geoserve serves as a distributor for leading Digital Elevation Model (DEM) providers, including Airbus, RESTEC, and EUSI. The table below presents a selection of available elevation models.

We also process elevation models in-house, using (fresh) stereo imagery to meet your specific project requirements.

3D models

Our 3D models, processed from very high resolution satellite images and an elevation model, provide a detailed and realistic representation of the earth’s surface. 3D textured models enable better analysis, decision making, training and situational awareness.
