Geoserve recently acquired the rights to distribute images from the Korean Kompsat satellites. With this Geoserve customers gain access to 3 satellites that collect very-high resolution satellite images: Kompsat-2 (1 meter resolutions), Kompsat-3 (70 cm resolution), Kompsat 3A (55 cm resolution) and Kompsat-5 (1 meter resolution X-band SAR). Both archive images and new acquisition images can be delivered. The Kompsat satellite are a good and attractively priced addition to Geoserve’s other very-high resolution satellites.
