Geoserve B.V. is a private company based in Emmeloord, the Netherlands. Geoserve was established in 1997 as a spin-off company of the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR).

Our core business has always been supplying satellite imagery. Geoserve is among others an authorized reseller for Airbus, European Space Imaging, SI Imaging Services and SpaceWill. Further Geoserve also resells Digital Elevation Models from RESTEC and Airbus.

Since the past 10 years, Geoserve has chosen to focus on “giving easy access to satellite data”. As a result we have grown the activities in satellite image processing and image portals. This enabled us to give new users also easy access to satellite imagery.

Geoserve processes satellite imagery for among others several Dutch Ministries and engineering firms (Arcadis, Haskoning).

Geoserve has a 5 person experienced staff with an engineering or ICT background. The shareholders of Geoserve are the Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR) and part of the Geoserve staff.

Frank
Wouters

Frank is the founder and director of Geoserve. By putting people’s well-being first, Frank enables the people around him to grow both personally and professionally. In his private life Frank is a lumberjack and he loves to be in the forest. In his house, heated with the logged wood, he can then comfortably watch soccer games.

Reinder
de Jong

Reinder is Geoserve’s IT engineer. Thanks to his creativity, he always finds smart solutions to automate and scale up processes for our clients and us. His two youngsters takes most of his energy at home. He spends his sparse leisure time left mostly outdoors: slow cooking with the kamado, hiking or standup paddleboarding on the Frisian lakes.

Peter
Volders

Peter is our image processing specialist. With his feeling for detail, he turns raw satellite data into accurate and “pretty” images for our clients, ready to be used. At home when he is not caring for his two cats, Peter can often be found in his music studio.

Benjan
Karnebeek

Benjan is our software developer. With energetic passion and a keen eye for detail, he writes the code for the catalogue tools of our clients. In his free time, Benjan enjoys studying history and exploring historical sites. He stays active by running daily.

Niek
Schaap

Niek, our project manager, handles projects with precision, much like a meticulous chef. His organized approach ensures a clear overview of current and future tasks. With over a decade of experience in satellite data, Niek offers clients expert advice tailored to their needs. When Niek isn't indulging in his passion for food, he can often be found running.
